Welcome from the AVM President...
"Welcome to the AVM website! One of our past presidents, Erica Phillips, described our organization so succinctly: "The Association of Veterinary Microbiologists is a place for the open exchange of ideas, procedures, problems and solutions encountered in veterinary laboratories. Our members include laboratory technicians, supervisors, and directors alike. We have members serving in public health, university and industrial sectors across the nation. Each laboratory is unique, and each member brings their own set of strengths to our organization." I am the current president and look forward to exchanging information with you on our List Serve or meeting you at our annual meeting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in July 2020. Our 2020 annual meeting will consist of a lab tour of Louisiana Animal Disease Diagnostic Lab (LSU), speakers, and round table discussions to solve problems and exchange valuable information."
